Jackson native Knxwledge wins Grammy

JACKSON – Glen Boothe, who is a graduate of Jackson Memorial High School and is known in the music industry as Knxwledge, recently received a Grammy award for a track he produced on Kendrick Lamar‘s 2015 album “To Pimp A Butterfly.” The track Knxwledge produced is “Momma.”

The Grammy awards ceremony took place on Feb. 15.

Boothe, 27, is the son of Clara and Glen Boothe Sr. In addition to producing, he is also a performer who has released his own music in recent years, according to a previous article in Greater Media Newspapers.
