The Arc of Monmouth will hold its annual fundraiser, “Step Up for The Arc Walk and 5K,” at 8:30 a.m. April 9 at 1300 Ocean Ave., Asbury Park. A noon celebration will follow at Convention Hall.
Event proceeds will benefit individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Last year’s event raised over $50,000 for employment, housing, recreation and other vital services for individuals with I/DD and their families.
Participants are invited to race for the finish line as a 5K runner or walk with friends and family. The party will feature live music by the “Wait Till Friday” band and DJ Nicky, giveaways, games and food served by the Masonic Lodges of the 17th District. The registration fee includes a free T-shirt.
