A story of survival presented April 13

Edison resident Seymour (Sy) Tabak will share his mesmerizing tale of life in peril during World War II, which included days and nights spent hiding in the Russian forests and eventual emigration to the United States at 7 p.m. on April 13 at Congregation Neve Shalom, 250 Grove Ave., Metuchen. Sy will also describe the emotional trip with his family back to where it all began.

Presented jointly by Metuchen-Edison and Colonia Hadassah chapters, the event is free and open to the public.
