Aberdeen announces new appointment

Aberdeen Township has appointed Jim Dolan to the Aberdeen Economic Business Council (EBC). He was appointed to fill a position vacated by Steve Marcinkiewicz.

A licensed realtor, Dolan is a principal of Aberdeen-based Florham Realty Management, LLC, a commercial real estate development and management company whose holdings include the Aberdeen Townsquare shopping center and other properties in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Arizona.

Dolan graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is an active board member for the Janet Fund, an organization devoted to awareness, education and prevention of sudden cardiac arrest in children.

He joins the appointed committee that includes Chairman Carmine Visone, Jason Bigelow, Eugene DeMarco, Bill Parness, Maxine Rescorl, David Shah, Mayor Fred Tagliarini and Township Manager Holly Reycraft.

The Aberdeen EBC was formed in 2012 to improve relations between the township government and business community, explore opportunities for new commercial or industrial development and help attract new businesses to town. To contact the EBC, call 732-583-4200, ext. 101.
