Alvernia University
Matthew Junio of Edison spent winter break working to help others in Reading, Pa., through an Alvernia University Alternative Break program. Junio is studying Athletic Training at the university.
Participants spend a week learning more about the City of Reading and volunteering at a variety of different social service agencies, including Opportunity House, the Animal Rescue League, City Lights Ministries, Hope’s Table Food pantry and Prospectus Berko.
Eastern Connecticut State University
Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, Conn., recently released its fall 2015 semester Dean’s List for full-time students. Joseph Siecinski ’18 of Edison was named to the Dean’s List. Siecinski’s major is Business Administration.
Lehigh University
Elizabeth Sharlow, of Metuchen, was named to the Dean’s List at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa., in the Fall 2015 semester.

The following students from the area were named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2015 semester at Widener University in Chester, Pa.: Lavanya Nagappan, a biology major from Edison and Purvi Patel, a biology major from Edison.
York College
Aimee Wilson of Metuchen, a senior Biology major has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2015 semester at York College in Pennsylvania.
Sarah Wilson of Edison, a senior Secondary Education/English major has also been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2015 semester at York.
