Park System looking for volunteer Garden Ambassadors

MIDDLETOWN — Do you enjoy interacting with visitors and spending time in a beautiful setting? Opportunities to be a volunteer Garden Ambassador are available to those age 18 and up at Deep Cut Gardens, 152 Red Hill Road, Middletown.

Deep Cut Gardens is the Park System’s site dedicated to the home gardener and features 54 acres of gardens and greenhouses. Garden Ambassadors are asked to drop in and be a welcoming, informative presence on the grounds.

Prospective Garden Ambassadors are invited to attend a training session from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Volunteers will tour the park and learn about Deep Cut Gardens’ special events and seasonal points of interest.
