The Metuchen Arts Council will present the Spring Edition of the Schoolhouse Songwriters Series, an intimate, candlelit evening of acoustic music with cafe-style seating and refreshments, on April 16 at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse, 491 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; music starts at 8 p.m. The cost is $10; children under twelve are $5.
