Lincroft Presbyterian Church will host an author talk and book signing by Victoria Baker at 7:30 p.m. April 19 at 270 Everett Road, Lincroft. The event is sponsored by the church’s book club.
Infertility, death of a 23-year marriage, caring for ailing relatives and raising two sons alone, one with severe autism, would bring many people to their knees. For Baker, falling to her knees in prayer was the only way to find her way out from depression to a place of hope and joy.
Baker will discuss her book, “The Making of Faith,” a personal journey from darkness to places to light, healing and hope. Despite life’s curveballs, Baker found her unwavering faith in God kept her sane and able to rise above difficult circumstances.
