NORTH BRUNSWICK – At first named a Forty Under 40 candidate locally, Adam Davis has now been named Forty Under 40 nationally.
Davis, 37, originally of North Brunswick, has been selected for the Forty Under 40 honors by Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Daily, a magazine based out of North Carolina.
As the chief revenue officer for the Prudential Center and the New Jersey Devils, he had first joined the Devils as executive vice president of corporate partnerships in 2014 after working for Madison Square Garden.
“I’ve been lucky to work for some amazing leaders, like Scott O’Neil, who have believed in me and given me every opportunity to succeed. And I couldn’t do any of this without my very smart and talented colleagues who inspire me every day,” Davis said.
Davis was selected from hundreds of candidates based on criteria such as being a leader within his industry segment, the size and scope of his responsibilities, his accomplishments over his career and specifically within the last 12-24 months, his creativity and innovation, the scope of influence within his area of expertise and the specific business results driven by his ideas and execution, including revenue generation, revenue growth and other growth metrics, according to Mark N. Mensheha, assistant managing editor of the SportsBusiness Journal.

Davis had also been honored by NJBIZ as one of its Forty Under 40 honorees for 2015.

“The best part is I get to do it all in my home state of Jersey,” Davis said.

Davis is the son of North Brunswick Councilman Robert Davis and the late Linda Davis.

The awards ceremony was scheduled for April 14 in Los Angeles.
