Craftspeople, artists, performers and food and retail vendors are invited to register for the 2016 Metuchen Spring Street Fair, held in downtown Metuchen from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 22.
Sponsored by the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce, Metuchen Spring Street Fair draws more than 30,000 visitors to this swinging street soirée in downtown Metuchen. Admission is free for the general public, with more than 120 artists, crafters and vendors participating.
Exhibitors can apply online at the Chamber website, www.metuchenchamberexchange.com, or call 908-654-1400. Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce members receive up to a 50 percent discount on exhibitor fee. Food vendor applications are due April 20; non-food exhibitors must be received by May 6.
“We’ve got a full season of major festival events coming up in Metuchen,” says Lawrence McCullough, executive director of Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce. “The annual Spring Street Fair is a great chance for visitors to sample the current arts revival happening in the community and see some of the new shops on Main Street.”
