HILLSBOROUGH: High school coach Parham organizing day camps this summer 

Hillsborough High School head boys’ basketball coach Lennie Parham invites youngsters to enroll in his series of summer basketball camps.
Three different types of camp are scheduled. Instruction will be by Hillsborough High School boys’ basketball coaches. Camp will include skill contests, a T-shirt for each camper and a camp store that will be open every day from noon to 1 p.m. and 2:50 to 3:10.
The schedule:
— June 22-24: Youth camp for boys and girls at Auten Road Intermediate School;
— June 27-30: Offensive skills camp for boys at ARIS;
— July 11-14: Skills camp for boys and girls at Hillsborough High School;
— July 18-21: Skills camp at HHS;
— July 25-28: Skills camp at HHS;
— Aug. 8-11: Offensive skills camp for boys and girls at HHS.
Youth mini-camp is intended for boys and girls who will be in grades 1 through 3 in September. The sessions are from 9 a.m. to noon, and the fee is $90. The camp is designed to teach basic fundamentals of basketball along with the rules, sportsmanship and having fun.
Offensive skills camp is geared for boys and girls who will enter grades 4 through 9 in September. It is designed to teach shooting and all offensive skills of the game along with using screens, offensive moves, team concepts along with contests and fun.
The June 27 session for boys runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and the fee is $160. Campers should bring a lunch.
The August camp for boys and girls runs from 9 a.m. to noon, and the fee is $110.
Fundamental skills camps are intended for boys and girls who will enter grades 3 through 9 in September. It is designed to teach all the skills and rules of basketball along with offensive and defensive team concepts, contests and fun. Campers should bring a lunch.
Sessions will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the fee is $160.
Sports drinks, healthy snacks and pizza will be available for purchase during lunch time and at the end of the camp day.
