Marchers needed for Sayreville Memorial Day Parade

Members of the American Legion proceed through the small crowd during the flag retirement ceremony held at American Legion Post 211 in Sayreville on June 14. American Legion Post 211 retired hundreds of flags during the ceremony.

VFW No. 4699 is sponsoring the Sayreville Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. on May 30. Anyone interested in marching in the parade, should call Frank Straczynski at 609-651-1991 or the post home at 732-254-4789.
