Dr. Jonathan Judaken, Spence L. Wilson chair in Humanities at Rhodes College, will discuss the development of post-Holocaust Judeophobia in Europe at a free, public lecture at 7:30 p.m. May 4 at the Douglass Campus Center, 100 George St., New Brunswick campus of Rutgers University.

According to Judaken, there are four key elements that define this phenomenon: Holocaust denial, extreme Left anti-Zionism, Islamist Judeophobia and anti-Israeli anti-racism. He will talk about the so-called “New Anti-Semitism” and explore how anti-Jewish vitriol is framed by the punditocracy, which often distorts the public’s understanding of the reality on the ground.
