HILLSBOROUGH: Rotary Club to host charity golf on May 6 

The Rotary Club of Hillsborough will host its annual golf classic on Friday, May 6, at the Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough.
Beneficiaries of this year’s charity effort are GiGi’s Playhouse, a one-of-a-kind achievement center for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community, and the Hillsborough Rotary Foundation, which supports the local community.
Among the community events to be supported by Rotary Foundation funds raised at the golf classic is the Aug. 20 Family Fun Day, reserved for special needs children and their families, at the annual August fair.
Larken Associates, commercial and residential developers, builders and managers headquartered in Hillsborough, is the premier golf sponsor.
Other key sponsors of the golf tournament include HRC Fitness, a family fitness and recreation center; Premiere Dance Hillsborough school and studio; and state Assemblyman and Hillsborough resident Jack Ciattarelli, who is sponsoring the dinner.
Registration for the classic begins at 11 a.m. at the Royce Brook Club House, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Registration fees are $175 per golfer and $700 per foursome.
