East Brunswick Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 133 will host a Loyalty Day celebration at 1 p.m. May 1 at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road.
The community is invited to attend. The day is designed to demonstrate patriotism and allegiance by showing what it means to be an American, whether taking care of veterans, voting in elections or helping the homeless. Nominees will be honored with community-service awards for 2015-16. The event also will feature music and refreshments.
