Men’s a cappella chorus performs spring show

The Chorus of the Atlantic will present its annual Spring Show, “Bloomin’ Harmony,” at 2 p.m. on May 7 at the Ocean Township High School, 550 West Park Ave., Oakhurst, (3 miles south of the Monmouth Mall.). This year’s program celebrates a cappella singing with special musical guests, “Brothers in Arms” quartet. Also featured in the performance will be the Red Bank Chapter’s Matinee Idles, the afternoon chorus of retired gentlemen.

Admission is $17, $14 for seniors, and free for those under 16. There is a $2 discount
for advance purchase. The chorus is part of the Red Bank Area Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The Chapter hosts two annual shows and sings at many venues throughout the year. The Chorus of the Atlantic welcomes visitors to their rehearsals. They meet Tuesday evenings from 7:30–10 p.m. at the Red Bank Middle School, Harding Road, Red Bank.
