FARMINGDALE — The Brookdale Community College Foundation will honor Monmouth Medical Center and Thomas Bracken, president and CEO of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, during the 2016 Brookdale Scholarship Ball that will begin 6:30 p.m. May 27 at the Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club, 20 Shore Oaks Drive, Farmingdale.
The ball is held in support of the Foundation’s “Building Minds, Building Futures” scholarship fund, which supports local college students who do not qualify for traditional financial aid. This year, the fund awarded nearly $420,000 in scholarships and grants to more than 500 local students.
The ball will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions and music by the Carl Gentry Band. Auction items include vacation packages, event tickets, artwork, designer handbags, an autographed Bruce Springsteen box set and a variety of unique dining and entertainment experiences.
