Seabrook honors residents at luncheons

TINTON FALLS — In honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Month, Seabrook held two luncheons on April 21 and April 22 to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the more than 400 residents who volunteer on and off campus. More than 300 residents attended the celebrations.

Associate Executive Paula Digerness welcomed the guests to the celebration and thanked them for their service to the community. Tinton Falls Mayor Gerald Turning gave the keynote address during the event.

Resident volunteers contribute over 4,500 hours of service on campus and at not-for-profits in the local community including the Monmouth County SPCA and local food banks. Seabrook’s 125 resident-run activity groups provide individuals the opportunity to lead or participate in a volunteer activity that aligns with their interests.

Seabrook is one of 18 continuing care retirement communities managed by Erickson Living. The scenic 98-acre campus is located in Tinton Falls and is home to more than 1,400 residents.
