LONG BRANCH — The Monmouth County Park System will host “7 Prez SK8 Jam” from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 21 at the newly renovated Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park Skateplex, 221 Ocean Ave.
The event will feature amateur competitions, music and a pro skater demonstration. Competitors will have the chance to compete against other skaters on the street course for awards in different age categories. There will also be a Bowl Contest for skaters looking to show off their skills. Awards will be given to the top three skaters in each category.
The cost to enter a competition is $15 per person. Online registration is available at www.monmouthcountyparks.com. Cash or checks only will be accepted for registration on day of event. All competitors must wear helmets.
