Jennie Garth, Dan Payne and Corbin Bernsen star in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ original drama Karen Kingsbury’s A Time to Dance, premiering Sunday, May 15 at 9 p.m. The film tells the story of Abby (Garth) and John (Payne) Reynolds, a married couple who have been together since their days as high school sweethearts — when John was a football hero (now a coach) and Abby dreamed of becoming a writer (now a restaurant critic). Presently in their forties, they plan to announce to their son and daughter a decision to divorce, until their daughter surprises them with an announcement that she has gotten engaged. Will planning a wedding give Abby and John one last chance to find their love again? Bernsen portrays Abby’s father Pops Chapman, a retired football coach, who senses what’s going on.
Showtime will present the U.S. TV premiere of Just Let Go — Lenny Kravitz Live on Friday, May 13 at 8 p.m. Filmed in Paris, Prague, Memphis, New Orleans and New York over the course of six months, this is a story about relationships between Lenny and his band and why, despite him being a solo artist, these musicians are so vitally important to him both personally and professionally. The concert performances, captured raw, honest and live, showcase front-man extraordinaire Kravitz and the iconic and world-renown musicians who surround him. The band, in their own words, talk candidly about life on the road.
