There is limited enrollment. Some sessions in May will be held outdoors at Gravelly Brook Park in Matawan.

Caldwell University softball sophomore catcher Marisa Monasseri (Monroe) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Year.

Monasseri, a First Team All-Conference selection at catcher, is having a record-breaking season for the Cougars, as she leads the CACC in batting average, slugging and on-base percentage, as well as home runs and RBIs. She is also top three in the East Region in all five categories and leads the region in on base percentage.

Monasseri is also tied for sixth in the CACC in runs scored and 10th in hits. She set modern era program records (records since 1995) for single-season home runs, shattering the previous mark of 10, and is third on the all-time home run list.

This season, she is batting .436 with 16 home runs and 51 RBIs. She is slugging .955 and has an on-base percentage of .570. Monasseri has totaled seven doubles and scored 30 runs with 48 hits this season.

It is her second All-Conference selection.
