LITTLE SILVER — The Red Bank Regional High School (RBR) Little Bucs Preschool program will add an afternoon class this fall. The program is operated free of charge to residents in the RBR-sending school towns of Little Silver, Red Bank, Shrewsbury as well as surrounding towns in conjunction with the high school’s Early Childhood Development Program.

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2016-2017 school year. The tentative starting date is Oct. 5, and the program will continue through the first week of June in 2017. Morning sessions run from 8:45-10:20 a.m., and afternoon sessions run from 11:50 a.m.-1:25 p.m.

Little Bucs Preschool offers a developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children with activities such as arts and crafts, music, story time, free play, gym, show-and-tell and circle time.

The program takes place in a professional early education classroom located within the RBR school building. The classroom is self-contained and has an exit door which opens onto a patio for outdoor activities. Students will be dropped off and picked up at the front door of RBR.

A one-time activities fee of $125 will be charged to fund holiday events, photos and school outings. To apply, contact preschool Director Susan Eads at seads@rbrhs.org or 732-842-8000, ext. 331. Provide your name and contact information as well as your child’s name.
