A free memorial concert to pay tribute to former Old Bridge Township Public Schools music teacher Joseph Kaschak is planned for 7:30 p.m. June 11 at Carl Sandburg Middle School, 3439 Route 516, Old Bridge.
Kaschak was a music educator in the Old Bridge school system for more than 40 years. He began the instrumental-music program at Madison Township High School and influenced the lives of thousands of students. The concert will feature some of Kaschak’s favorite selections, solo performances and a slide show commemorating his life.
Alumni who would like to perform at the concert should post their intention as soon as possible on the Joe Kaschak Tribute Concert by the Old Bridge Concert Band Facebook page or email Joe Walter jjjw@bellatlantic.net.
