Safe driving course open to South Brunswick seniors

The South Brunswick Senior Center will hold a one-day AARP Safe Driving Course from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., May 27, at the Office on Aging, in the municipal complex, 540 Ridge Road, off of Route 522, Monmouth Junction.

Learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate a vehicle more safely. Also, learn how to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time.

An insurance discount may be available upon completing the course.

The course is open to South Brunswick residents age 55 and older. The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-AARP members. All checks should be payable to AARP upon registration; no cash will be accepted.
