Sayreville resident charged with promoting prostitution

Four people, including a Sayreville resident, have been charged with prostitution at a massage parlor located in Highland Park.

Sook Hee Park, 48, Sun Hui Nam, 48, and Eun Sil Jan, 53, all of Flushing, Queens, New York; and Hezhong Chen, 55, of Sayreville, were charged following an investigation that began with an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers of Middlesex County Inc., according to a statement released on April 28 by Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Chief Stephen J. Rizco of the Highland Park Police Department.

Park was charged with promoting prostitution, engaging in prostitution and money laundering. Nam was charged with promoting prostitution and money laundering. Jang was charged with engaging in prostitution. Chen was charged with promoting prostitution.

The four were charged on April 22 during an investigation into the S Massage Spa LLC, located at 1001 Raritan Ave. in Highland Park, according to the statement.
