Talk on Native American healing slated for May 14

LINCROFT — The Monmouth Center for World Religion and Ethical Thought will hold its annual meeting May 14 at the Unitarian Universalist Meetinghouse, 1475 W. Front St. The public is invited to a presentation by Eileen Ellis from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Ellis will present “Native American Healing: Inviting Peace, Love and Transformation into Your Life.” She is a Mohawk medicine woman who holds a master’s degree in social work and has been trained by the Four Winds Society in energy medicine. She maintains a private practice that integrates Native American wisdom with therapy.
