Three allegedly found with Ecstasy, drug paraphernalia

EAST BRUNSWICK — Three people were charged with possession of drugs after a motor vehicle stop on Route 18.

Patrolman Robert Theoret and Patrolman Matthew Egnasko initiated a motor vehicle stop near Rues Lane around 1:45 a.m. on May 5, according to a statement prepared by the East Brunswick Police Department.

During the course of the motor vehicle stop the officers allegedly detected an odor of raw marijuana emanating from the vehicle, police said. A subsequent search of the occupants and vehicle reportedly revealed marijuana, half of a kilogram of Ecstasy as well as materials commonly used to package narcotics.

Dominique Bradley, 27, of Baltimore, Dean Clayton, 33, of Sayreville, and Cynthia Williams, 33, of Chicago, were charged with possession of Ecstasy with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspects were processed and transported to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in lieu of $150,000 bail, police said.
