Marlboro H.S. teachers will face Harlem Wizards

MARLBORO – The Marlboro Educational Foundation invites sports fans to watch teachers and staff members take on the Harlem Wizards basketball team on June 2 at 7 p.m. at Marlboro High School, Route 79.

The Harlem Wizards are a professional basketball team that performs at schools with an array of trick shots and fan interaction, according to a press release.

General admission is $15. Reserved seats (third and fourth rows in bleachers) are $25 and include a Harlem Wizards team poster.

Courtside seats (first and second rows in bleachers) are $35 and include a 10-minute meet and greet with two Wizards players 45 minutes prior to the game, a team poster, souvenir lanyard and a $15 discount to purchase a Wizards replica jersey. Patrons who purchase these tickets must arrive one hour before the game.

Children in attendance will have a chance to be a “Wiz Kid,” which allows a child to be introduced by the emcee, to warm up with the Wizards prior to the game, to participate in the Wizards’ entrance and to be part of the group photo with both teams. There is a limit of 75 children.

There will be a free autograph session after the game and souvenirs will be on sale at the game, with part of the proceeds being donated to the Marlboro Education Foundation. To purchase tickets, visit www.HarlemWizards.com/schedule-tickets
