POLICE BLOTTER for the week of 5/13/16

The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, May 4, 2016. 
Jonathan G. Price, 30, of Hightstown, was charged with DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to signal and delaying traffic after being stopped at 1:24 a.m. April 28 on Route 571.
An officer observed a vehicle operating in a reckless manner and conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 571 near Route 130. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Price was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. He was later released pending court action. 
Vilma Arevalo, 29, of East Windsor, was charged with DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, DUI in a school zone, failure to maintain a lane, failure to exhibit registration, failure to exhibit insurance, and use of a cellular phone while driving after being stopped at 3:15 a.m. May 1 on Twin Rivers Drive.
An officer observed a vehicle operating in a reckless manner and conducted a motor vehicle stop on Twin Rivers Drive near Abbington Drive. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Ms. Arevalo was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. She was later released pending court action. 
A juvenile suspect was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute, possession of drugs or analog and for being under the influence of drugs; and Vinicio F. Mogrovejo, 20, of East Windsor was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped at 11:02 p.m. May 2 on Kipling Lane.
An officer located a suspicious occupied vehicle parked on Kipling Lane. Further investigation revealed that the occupants were in possession of marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia. Both individuals were arrested and later released pending court action.
