BELFORD — The Kings Arms II Diner will host the “Car Cruise for Charity” from 5:30-8:30 p.m. May 24 at 553 Route 36 and Seely Street. The rain date is May 31. This is a free event for the public.

Car cruise registration fees from this event will support “Paint the Town Pink,” a women’s health-awareness initiative sponsored by Meridian Health that promotes early detection of breast cancer through mammography. The Meridian Health Pink Fund provides free mammograms for women who lack health insurance or finances to pay for them.

All classes of vehicles are welcome. There will be trophies, prizes, dinner specials and live entertainment by DJ Stephen Munger of No Limit Entertainment.

Registration fees for participating vehicle owners are $15 in advance or $20 at the event. Checks should be made payable to the Meridian Health Pink Fund. For a registration form or more information, contact Lori Anne Oliwa at 732-337-8625.
