East Brunswick author receives Researcher of the Year nod

Seton Hall University recently honored its 2016 cohort of Faculty Researchers of the Year, recognizing one faculty member from the Middlesex County area for her leadership and courage in the pursuit of new knowledge.

Simone James Alexander, of the College of Arts and Sciences, studies women’s literature of the African diaspora. Her recent book on this topic, “African Diasporic Women’s Narratives: Politics of Resistance, Survival and Citizenship,” was awarded the College Language Association Creative Scholarship Award.

Alexander resides in East Brunswick.
