The township of Monroe will sponsor Memorial Day commemorative events May 30. Wreath-laying and services are scheduled for 9 a.m. at the Veterans Monument in the township municipal complex, Perrineville Road, and 9:45 a.m. at Veterans Park, Avenue K.
All Monroe and Jamesburg veterans organizations are invited to participate. Bus transportation will be provided for veterans from the municipal complex to the dedication ceremony and back.
