Barbara P. Jamieson, 78, of East Brunswick, passed away peacefully on May 7 of colorectal cancer. Formerly of Old Bridge, she was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. Starting her career on Wall Street and moving to New Jersey in mid 60’s, before joining the Middlesex County Criminal Records Dept. in the early 1980’s.
She retired after 25 years from the Superior Court of New Jersey as an investigator for the Middlesex County Probation Dept. She was an avid crocheter, loved to travel and cruising the Caribbean and mostly loved being a mother and grandmother. Known for her positivity and always having a smile, she will be deeply missed by all who loved and new her.
Surviving are her three daughters, Donna and Heather Jamieson of East Brunswick, and Deborah Sosnak and husband, Jeffrey of Monroe Township, along with her three grandsons, Ryan, Tyler and Sean Sosnak.
