Calls for fee, resident ID to use courts

So East Brunswick will “only” pay $450,000-$500,000 to repair tennis courts. I wonder what percentage of the East Brunswick population use these tennis courts. It could be more out-of-township residents, especially at Bicentennial Park … there is close proximity to North Brunswick.

How about charging a fee to reserve the court times? You need a permit to use the ballfield at Bicentennial and other parks as well as at picnic facilities. Charge an hourly fee and require resident identification to register the court time. Otherwise, use the money to repair the potholes in the roads.

Thousands for tennis courts? Oy, vey.
