POLICE BLOTTER for the week of 5/27/16

The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, May 18, 2016. 
Richard J. Medina, 19, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and careless driving after being stopped at 12:24 p.m. May 13 on Dorchester Drive.
An officer observed a vehicle driving carelessly and conducted a motor vehicle stop on Dorchester Drive near Exeter Court. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Medina was arrested and later released pending court action. 
Billyjo L. Rovira, 24, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and failure to maintain lane at 6:04 p.m. May 13 on Lake Drive.
An officer observed a vehicle failing to maintain a lane and conducted a motor vehicle stop on Lake Drive near Abbington Drive. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested and later released pending court action. 
Ivan Naula, 27, of East Windsor, was charged with DUI, reckless driving, careless driving and with being an unlicensed driver after being discovered asleep in a parked vehicle at 2:49 a.m. May 14 at the Shell gas station on Route 33.
An officer observed a parked and occupied vehicle with a male asleep behind the wheel. After waking the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Naula was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. He was later released pending court action. 
Nicholas N. Warburton, 24, of East Windsor, was charged with DUI, reckless driving and careless driving after being stopped at 3:21 a.m. May 14 in the parking lot of the Shell gas station on Route 33.
An officer observed a vehicle operating recklessly on Lake Drive and conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of the Shell station. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Warburton was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. He was later released pending court action. 
Edgar F. Vega-Garcia, 46, of East Windsor, was charged with DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, traveling the wrong way on a one-way street, having a suspended driver’s license and for being an unlicensed driver after being stopped at 11:33 p.m. May 15 on Probasco Road.
An officer observed a vehicle operating recklessly on Probasco Road and conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of the Shell gas station on Route 33. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Vega-Garcia was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. He was later released pending court action. 
Sandra L. Gomez, 53, of East Windsor, was charged with DUI, refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and for making an unsafe lane change after being stopped at 1:27 a.m. May 16 on Hickory Corner Road.
An officer observed a vehicle operating recklessly and conducted a motor vehicle stop on Hickory Corner Road near Route 130. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Ms. Gomez was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. She was later released pending court action. 
Gustavo Suarez, 37, of East Windsor, was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft and possession of burglary tools in connection with a burglary at the Orchard Apartments.
The victim reported that she observed an unidentified male inside her residence from her remote security camera system at 11 a.m. May 17.
Police responded and located the suspect, who admitted to entering the victim’s residence on two separate occasions and stealing approximately $1,100 cash. He was arrested and later released pending court action after posting $2,500 bail with the East Windsor Municipal Court.
