Agency focuses on community’s health

Since 1994, the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey (VNACJ) Community Health Center (CHC) has been of tremendous service to Monmouth County, offering comprehensive primary care and wellness services.

Just last year, we were proud to have provided more than 25,000 visits to more than 9,300 patients at our four locations in Asbury Park, Keansburg, Keyport and Red Bank. Our services vary greatly, from wellness visits and chronic disease management to sick visits, dental care, mental health counseling and prenatal care.

Our ongoing commitment to advancing health for children, adults and seniors will be evident on June 11 when VNACJ will hold its annual Community Day Festival in Asbury Park at its Community Health Center, 1301 Main St., with free health screenings, games for children, music and fun from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

As a federally qualified health center, VNACJ is proud to meet the needs of the entire family, as we continually look for ways to help, from mammogram screenings to wellness awareness days to providing a steady stream of information about healthy living.

Please join us June 11 so we can learn how to better serve you and our community.
