On April 14, approximately 20 volunteers from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Metuchen/Edison returned to the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities at The Lakeview School in Roosevelt Park, Edison, for the fourth consecutive year. The charitable project was part of the real estate company’s statewide Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Day event.

Branch Vice President Kim Marks and Coldwell Banker Cares Ambassador Eileen Freihon led the office of volunteers and staff in performing projects requested by Lakeview School teachers. On Cares Day, the volunteers spent time revitalizing outdoor gardens on the site as well as assisting in classroom activities with students under the direction of the teachers. For the last three years, the office has also participated in contributing holiday gifts as requested by the students.

Marks said, “I am proud of all the affiliated sales associates and staff who work so hard each year to help the school and contribute to the well-being of students at this special facility. It is truly our honor to provide this volunteer activity.”

All 52 real estate offices affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, New York, gave back to local communities via charitable efforts as part of the fourth annual Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Day event. In total, more than 700 volunteers worked a combined 3,000-plus hours during Cares Day. They collected multiple carloads of food, clothes and other needed goods, as well as more than $9,000 in financial donations for local charities through Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares.
