Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will world premiere Garage Sale Mystery: The Novel Murders on Sunday, June 5 at 9 p.m. Starring Lori Loughlin and Sarah Strange, this is the fifth in the Garage Sale Mystery movie series. Jennifer Shannon is a garage sale shopping expert whose sharp observation skills allow her to uncover valuable antiques, as well as help her local police department investigate crimes and solve mysteries. When Jennifer makes a requested home delivery from the consignment shop where she sells gems, she finds a man murdered and soon realizes that this appears to be a re-enactment of a murder in a classic mystery novel. Additional murder re-enactments from novels occur and Jennifer is in a race against time to solve the case.
TBS’ Angie Tribeca is back on the case for season 2 premiering Monday, June 6 at 9 p.m.. Starring Rashida Jones as a lone-wolf detective who with the help of a squad of committed LAPD detectives is ready to untangle a second gripping season of all new webs of deceit. This premiere follows a 25-hour marathon of the entire first season.
Season two of Aquarius will launch commercial free on Thursday, June 16 from 9 to11 p.m. on NBC. David Duchovny stars as LAPD detective Sam Hodiak in the late ’60s. Searching for an old flames’ missing daughter, Sam and an undercover vice officer become entwined with Charles Manson and his hippie family.
The series is a sprawling work of historical fiction with nuanced characters and unparalleled music of the era.
CBS will premiere its new comic- thriller BrainDead on Monday, June 13 at 10 PM ET/PT. This event series is set in the world of Washington D.C. politics that follows Laurel (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) who has discovered that government has stopped working.
