Metuchen Public Library to hold book signing, reading with Scott Schober June 4

Metuchen Public Library will welcome author and cybersecurity and wireless technology expert Scott Schober on June 4 from 2-4 p.m. Schober, a highly sought after cybersecurity specialist, has appeared on numerous national television programs including CNN, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, Fox News, MSNBC and CNBC to name only a few.

Schober will be conducting a one-hour workshop titled “How to Keep your Personal Data safe from Hackers,” followed by a reading and signing of his newly published book, “Hacked Again: It Can Happen to Anyone Even a Cybersecurity Expert.” The book shares Schober’s own story of how a successful security company owner had his personal identity hacked and how he fought back, and offers valuable tips and best practices for others to help secure their identities. Forbes Magazine praised Schober’s book, saying “How can the little guys anticipate and prepare for a potential hack? For starters they should read Schober’s book…”

Schober’s book has gotten great reviews from industry experts, business magazines and others and has been strongly recommended for both the “little guys” as well as large business owners. In this age of ever-increasing use of technology for everything from banking to shopping, securing your electronic information is of the greatest importance. If you care about your online safety, this is absolutely an event not to be missed.

As an added incentive, 20 percent of all sales will be donated to the library.
