Spring showers may bring flowers, but spring downpours sometimes require a change of plans. Such was the case at K. Hovnanian’’s Four Seasons at Monmouth Woods. The popular new 55+ community in Howell Township had scheduled a Summer Family Day for May 21, but Mother Nature had other plans. Now, the event has been rescheduled for June 11.

Summer Family Day at K. Hovnanian’’s Four Seasons at Monmouth Woods is designed to bring grandparents, parents and children together for an afternoon of fun, games and activities to kick off the summer season. Activities will include a petting zoo, pony rides, a balloon artist, face painting, crafts for the kids and inflatables. The event will take place from 1-4 p.m. and is open by reservation, at no charge, to anyone aged 55+, along with their children and grandchildren. Based on the tremendous response this new community has had for its events and activities, it’’s anticipated that reservations for the Family Day will fill up quickly. Anyone interested in attending is asked to RSVP by calling 888-422-9488.

Summer Family Day will also provide an excellent opportunity for guests and visitors to tour the community’’s six beautifully furnished and decorated model homes, including three new models that just opened last month. Guests will have the opportunity to meet recent homebuyers and learn more about the unique lifestyle that awaits everyone who moves to this in-demand new active-lifestyle community.

K. Hovnanian’’s Four Seasons at Monmouth Woods offers an impressive choice of 12 different single-family home designs, including four loft-style and eight ranch-style floorplans. The selection includes some brand-new floorplans that have never been offered before at any of K. Hovnanian’’s Four Seasons communities in New Jersey. Homes feature up to 3,664 square feet of living space, with two or three bedrooms, and two-car garages. Pricing, which was recently lowered, is remarkably affordable for homes of this size and style in this desirable part of Central Jersey. Prices now start from the mid-$300s (subject to change). All homes within the community are subject to an age restriction whereby the homes are restricted to use and occupancy by at least one person of age 55 years or over, and with no permanent resident being under the age of 19.

The new community offers a low-maintenance lifestyle and will feature a wealth of resort-like amenities, including a 6,900-square-foot clubhouse with an outdoor pool, a kiddie pool for the grandchildren, a putting green, tennis courts, pickle ball, bocce ball courts and more. Homeowners will also be able to participate in a number of clubs, social activities and events.

Location is one of the key benefits of living at K. Hovnanian’’s Four Seasons at Monmouth Woods. The community offers easy access to Routes 9, 33 and I-195, as well as the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway. Homeowners will enjoy the convenience of a nearby NJ Transit Park and Ride bus terminal in Howell, with direct service into New York City. The surrounding area offers a wealth of shopping, dining and entertainment options. New Jersey’s second largest mall, Freehold Raceway Mall, is nearby, with more than 225 retailers. Homeowners will also appreciate being close to premier outlet centers at the Jersey Shore and Jackson Premium Outlets. Route 9 is home to many major retail chains, just a short drive away. Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate being so close to the Manasquan Reservoir County Park and several other local parks. The Jersey Shore is less than a half hour away and there are also great golf courses in the area.
