Swim lessons, pool access begin in July

The North Brunswick Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services will offer summer swim lessons for children and adults.

Selections include Sing Along Swimming and Parents & Children Swimming for young children, or group lessons for any level swimmers.

Participants may register for one class per season. The children’s instructional program is progressive and swimmers must take a skill test at the end of the class.

Open swim is offered 9-10 p.m. Wednesdays, July 6-Aug. 10. Lap swim is available 9-10 p.m. Mondays, July 11-Aug. 8 and Thursdays, July 7-Aug. 11.

The Rapids Swim Team is open to swimmers age 6-18.

Swim lessons for adults take place 7-8 p.m. Fridays, July 12-Aug. 12.

Resident mail-in registration begins June 14. Resident in-person registration begins June 21. Non-resident registration begins June 28.
