HILLSBOROUGH: Ice hockey coach receives offer of job to strengthen career

To the editor:
As some of you may have heard already I will not be returning to the Hillsborough ice hockey program next season. I received a job offer at a high level of hockey that is to great to pass on. This opportunity is something that I will need to take in order to further my career in hockey and will require most of my time and dedication.
I want to thank everyone who has been apart of the program either as a player, parent or a supporter. You guys have been great to me over the past four years and have truly helped my development as not only a coach but as a person. I’m truly grateful for my time at Hillsborough and I will never forget it.
I have spoken to Michael Fanizzi and I will be apart of the hiring process of the new staff and the transition process. My number-one goal is to make sure there is no drop off in the program and to be of any help in the transition process. If you have any questions or concerns I am still the direct contact until further notice. As always players or parents if you need anything from me I’m always willing to help, even though I will be moving on I still consider you guys apart of my hockey family and will do anything for you guys.
Most importantly players thank you for all your hard work and continued dedication. You guys are what makes the Hillsborough hockey program one of the top ones in the state. You will continue to do great things moving forward and I can not wait to see your success in the future.
