CRANBURY: Fun, interesting events scheduled at public library

"BubbleSoccer" uses high quality inflated balls that are worn by the players allowing them to bounce and fall without risk.

The Cranbury Public Library has two upcoming events that promise to be fun and interesting for local residents.
First up, the library is rolling out its summer reading program, called “Get Ready, Get Set, Read,” by hosting a new version of soccer from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 23.
“BubbleSoccer,” sponsored by GameTruck Princeton, uses high quality inflated balls which are worn by the players and allow participants to bounce and fall without any risk. Trained GameCoaches are on hand to emphasize safety and fun during play. They keep the game rolling and help players up when they bounce around.
This is high-energy play which allows participants to experience soccer like never before. Those participating must pick up your tickets at the library in advance, beginning June 21. One ticket per child, for ages 7 and up. If there are any left over, adults/parents will be allowed to participate on a first come, first served basis.
Then on Monday, June 27, from 10:30 to noon, the library will host the animals from the What-Knott Farm in Perkiomenville, PA. Every visit to the library brings a new group of barnyard favorites to enjoy. While especially appropriate for young children, all ages are invited to attend. The event will be held under the tree next to the tennis courts adjacent to the Cranbury Township parking lot. There is no rain date for this event.
The Cranbury Public Library is at 23 N. Main St. in Cranbury.
