Storm win final game of the season

The Storm won the final game of the spring season defeating Lakehurst 4-2 ending tied for second place in the Premier flight.
Grace O’Leary started the scoring early off a feed from Shannan Hauslet. Soon after Julia Gorajek put the Storm ahead 2-0 putting a through ball from Payton Rupp home.
Lakehurst evened the score by the end of the first half as the wind pushed a high kick down behind the keeper and turned a corner kick into the far post.
Early in the second half O’Leary drove down the left side and crossed the ball to the far right post where Ragan McKenna tapped in the for the 3-2 lead. Hauslet finished the scoring for Storm bodying a deflection off a Gorajek shot past the goal line.
Keeper Mikayla Capasso had a clean sheet in the second half aided by the always stellar defensive team work of Meg Regan, Lili Iavarone, Danielle Faup and Jessica Gratkowski.
