Laurie Ann Wood, 53, of East Windsor, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 17, 2016.
Born in Syracuse, NY, Laurie was raised in East Windsor, NJ. She resided in Los Angeles, CA from 1988-1993, before moving back to East Windsor. She was a 1985 graduate of Douglas College, Rutgers University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Communications. She went on to work for American Express as a travel counselor and later as a specialized support counselor with the accounting department. In 2010, she graduated from Mercer County Technical School and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was then employed with Abrams Residence at Greenwood House in Ewing until 2012. Laurie was a NY Giants fan and an avid world traveler. She was a loving wife, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Irene (Cechovic) Wood and her brother, Ralph Wood Jr.; she is survived by her loving wife, Carol Brozyna; her brother, Brian Wood and wife, Teresa; several cousins and many friends.
Family and friends may gather on Saturday, June 25, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Cranbury NJ 08512. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
