Library adds hoopla access for patrons

The Old Bridge Public Library is offering cardholders free instant access to hoopla to download digital movies, music and eBooks, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Hoopla is a comprehensive digital service made available through the Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium (LMxAC), of which the Old Bridge Public Library is a member. The service’s selections range from Hollywood blockbusters to best-selling artists and authors as well as niche and hard-to-find selections.

Users need a library card, a web browser and a smartphone or tablet to get started. Patrons are eligible to receive up to five free downloads per month by logging on to and clicking the hoopla graphic on the home page.
