Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce is currently offering mentoring classes for startup business operators. The Chamber of Commerce has signed on to the SCORE program (Service Corps of Retired Executives) in which veteran business executives serve as counselors to aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners. Each mentoring session pairs the client with two executives from Central Jersey SCORE. The first meeting assesses the client’s immediate business challenges; subsequent sessions are scheduled with SCORE members whose expertise matches the business’ specific area and type.
