Chloe Shortino and Emily VanPelt
Hillsborough High School seniors Chloe Shortino and Emily Van Pelt were honored at the high school Senior Scholar Awards program on June 2.
Chloe and Emily have demonstrated leadership and volunteerism to the Pop Warner Hillsborough Dukes Football and Cheer Community over the last four years. Each were awarded a monetary scholarship, the Nick Muller Award, for demonstrating the qualities necessary to be a successful athlete, student and mentor.
The Nick Muller High School Senior Award is presented annually in memory of Mr. Muller, who unselfishly volunteered for the Dukes from 1969-1983.
Chloe is attending Rider University with a career plan to become a CPA. Emily Van Pelt will attend Kean University with an intended major in bio medicine.
