Anthony Mielnicki of Howell, has graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, New York.

The following Howell residents have been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts: Matthew E. Postorino and Sarah Wu.

Michael Kaminskas of Jackson has received a College Television Award from the Television Academy Foundation for working on the Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York, television show “Hold That Thought,” which is a sports debate show in the tradition of ESPN’s “Around the Horn.” Each episode features a host and guest commentators who debate a series of topics and issues from the local and national sports world. At the conclusion of each episode, viewers and the producers decide a winner. Award winners are invited to participate in a nominee summit at the Television Academy, where they are exposed to industry professionals and undergo development workshops.

The following Howell residents have received degrees at Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts: Connor M. Kalafsky, Bachelor of Science in science education; Emmanuel C. Magsino, Master of Science in medical science; and Daniel A. Houli, Master of Science in computer information systems.

Bradley Hodousek of Howell has been named to the dean’s list for the 2015 fall semester at the University of Scranton, Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The following area residents have graduated from Albright College, Reading, Pennsylvania: Emily Diaz of Jackson graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology: criminology/Spanish; Marianne Scherb of Howell graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biology-secondary education.

James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia, has announced that Nicole Maria Piasentini of Howell has graduated with a degree in communication sciences and disorders.

Jakub Frankowicz of Howell has graduated from Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

The following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at Seton Hall University, South Orange: Robert Avallone of Howell, Peter Carfagno of Howell, Joshua Danski of Jackson, Neena Farzaneh of Howell, Emily Kaminski of Howell, Matthew Lamb of Howell, Kathleen McGeehan of Howell, Erica Najar of Howell, Michelle Penney of Howell, Michael Roma of Jackson, Dominika Rybaltowski of Howell, Stephanie Santora of Jackson, Julia Silva of Howell and Katelyn Stoughton of Howell.

The following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania: Kelly Compell of Jackson, Ryan Morris of Jackson, Kelly Poretti of Jackson and Jacqueline Ruggiero of Howell.

Jananicole Graham of Jackson has been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio.

The following area residents have graduated from Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore, Maryland: Kylie Geis of Jackson, BS, chemistry/biology and Amanda Puglise of Jackson, BA, speech pathology.

James McGowan of Jackson has earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia.

The following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at the University of Hartford, West Hartford, Connecticut: Bamidele Adu of Howell and Rachel Geiger of New Egypt.

Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Connecticut, has named Howell residents Jessica Adams, Julianne Clement and Samantha Gormley to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester.

Kayla Lang of Jackson has been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at Merrimack College, Andover, Massachusetts.

The following local students have been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at Albright College, Reading, Pennsylvania: Rachel Barkley, a junior digital video arts major from Jackson; Paige Naseef, a sophomore biology/classical studies major from Howell; and Heather Prince, a junior sociology/criminology major from New Egypt.

Nicholas Pisani, a freshman from New Egypt, was named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at Lycoming College, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
