Helaine Neiman, a certified Canasta Instructor, will teach a four-week beginners’ class in Modern Canasta at the JCC, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison, in September. Two sections will be offered: one on Thursday afternoons from 2-4 p.m. and one on Thursday evenings from 7-9 p.m. Classes will be held on Sept. 8, 15, 22, and 29. The cost is $135 for JCCMC members and $150 for non-members. Space is very limited.
